In the tradition of telling spooky stories at Christmas, a small group of horror authors exchanged stories and recorded readings of them. Here I read 'The Blizzard Falls' by Andrew Freudenberg.

Brilliant interview!
Wow he is super humble :) glad I found his books, they are such a delight
Happy holidays europea McNee
Cocktail skills have never left me!
A Christmas barbecue!
First
garth marenghi aspires to shaun huts's level of suauve and debonair 80s horror-kitsch.
I've always felt Shaun was much more the inspiration than the likes of King or James Herbert. The only difference I think is Shaun isn't as grandiose and po-faced as Garth, and does seem to have a sense of humour about his work .
Ramsey is always such a joy to listen to!
Garth should be careful lest Shaun delivers him a proper knuckle supper.
I always thought Garth was a Guy N Smith send up.
Just like grandma used to make. Yummy
Garth also takes some inspiration from William Freidkin in the fashion department
If won ton gets a hold of this, my ass is grass. And he's got a lawnmower, ya dig?
I present evidence for another inspiration. Check out the video with Todd Mcfarlane intros to Spawn. You won't be disappointed.
Ramsey is an absolutely tremendous human being, as well as, for me, the greatest British writer alive. I'll go further, he is the greatest British writer ever in my opinion.
I met up with Ramsey this year at his house and had the best time talking about every version of Dracula we could think of!
argh / weerooogh the only way to get an extreme reaction is writing in an extreme way x). Bless them Digimons *pat*.
Fun Fact : Hutson has written short stories on the wind during the witching hour upwards of three times during his career, and once in a predawn fog. Sadly none of those works ever saw the light of day.
gotta love when the greenscreen shines through
The only christmas special that matters.
I watched a bunch of Vincent Price this past October and I had no idea there was a cookbook! Loved the humor and I'll check the cookbook out soon
Woo!
Incredibly curious for your experiments. Break a leg!
Great content; glad the algorithm found you 😊 Subscribed, and will check out your book. Entertaining cooking content plus an opportunity to check out a horror author I haven’t read yet? Yes, please!
First time seeing your content, this was a fun watch! I had no idea Vincent Price even had a cookbook.
This is exactly the type of original content I come to UA-cam for. Have my subscription. #208
Altough I have no idea how the algorithm suggested your channel to me, great video, I really enjoyed it :)
Glad it's suggesting it to somebody!

At last!!!
It's when he says that Sam Peckinpah wasn't just an influence on his writing but on his life... I just can't 😂😂😂😂 The absolute Alan Partridge/Garth Marenghi gauche- lack-of-self-awareness-sixth-form lad-who-takes-himself-too-seriously ness of it all!... It is perfection.
Had to google Shawun Hutson. Never read his stuff. He's from a town a couple of miles from where I grew up though, but I don't have that accept, he sounds like he should be on eastenders. Never heard of the guy though.
Nah. I mean, yes, he has all the trademarks, but the thing is - guys like that were a dime a dozen back in the day. It’s just such an archetype. If Matthew Holness had never even heard of Shaun Hutson it would surprise me about as much as if he had. There were just so many guys like this. It’s a pity people don’t read anymore.
Quorra: Bot still got it.
Shaun Hutson is a man who: - Physically assaulted Neil Gaiman for daring to make fun of one of Hutson's books - Doxxed a reader's email address on his website because he didn't like the criticism the reader had made of the ending of one of his books - Is totally dismissive of most authors because their work isn't as straightforward as his (yet he admits that he doesn't read many other authors) - Admitted that he only started writing because he thought he could make money from doing so. What a prick.
Hahahahaha!!!
Shaun Hutson sounds like a proper dream weaver
Plus actor.
Doom sage
Yep, a fine interview. Excellent to see Master clearly content with his six decades writing Horror and seeing more in his lifetime and yet further still into perhaps prose produced into the phantasmagorical spookiness of the beyond...
OMFG 😲 Matthew Holness once was asked where Garth Marenghi's accent came from and he said "from a lot of people we don't like" but that was clearly an evasion. It was THIS guy!!! Mind blown 🤯 Straight out the top of my head. Like a really explosive sh!t that takes you half a roll of paper to clean up.
Garth always reminded me of Guy N Smith (tons of low quality novels churned out regularly).
titan of terror vs. godfather of gore
Ramsey Campbell is an inspiration. He is one of the great writers of my generation. Never stop writing Mr Campbell. From Japanontology
Great interview!
I find it hilarious how nice Jonathan is considering how horrible the stuff he writes is hahah
💥 "Promosm"
Great interview. Great books.

I have never in my life heard a door slam that many times.
Just our luck there was a door-slamming convention in the same hotel.
